Clinical Side Positions

Professor (BS-21) — 1 post each, age limit 35-62 years. Available in Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Urology, Paeds Surgery, Pulmonology, and Nephrology. Requires MBBS with level-III qualification (FCPS/MD/MS) or equivalent recognized by SRC and PM&DC. Three years teaching experience as Associate Professor is essential (with total Assistant + Associate Professor experience not less than 8 years), OR 9 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor. Total 15 research publications required, with at least 6 within the last 3 years in PM&DC recognized journals.

Requires MBBS with level-III qualification (FCPS/MD/MS) recognized by SRC and PM&DC, with 5 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor. Senior Registrar (BS-19) — Multiple posts across subjects: General Surgery (1), Psychiatry (1), ENT (1), Anesthesiology (1), Neurosurgery (1), Cardiology (1). Age limit 25-50 years. Requires MBBS with FCPS/MD/MS or other equivalent level-III qualification in the specialty recognized/registered by PM&DC.

Terms & Conditions

  • Recruitment will be purely on contract basis for a period of 1 year, extendable upon satisfactory performance and subject to approval of the competent authority.
  • All vacancies will be filled purely on merit basis.
  • Appointments will not be considered a case of Regularization & Seniority. Decisions of the competent authority cannot be challenged in any court of law.
  • Only candidates having domicile of Sindh are eligible to apply.
  • Eligibility criteria for teaching positions shall be as per PM&DC Regulations, and age criteria will follow PM&DC regulations and Government of Sindh rules.
  • Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel with departmental NOC.
  • Women quota, Minority quota, Transgender quota, and quota for Differently Abled Persons shall be observed as per applicable Government of Sindh policy.
  • Applications, along with all requisite academic documents and domicile, must be submitted through courier to the Office of the Principal, Khairpur Medical College, Khairpur Mir's.
  • The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of advertised posts or withdraw/cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
  • All academic and professional credentials of selected candidates will be subject to verification; fake or forged documents will result in cancellation of appointment and further legal action.

If a candidate is appointed on a regular basis through SPSC, their contractual appointment will automatically stand terminated from the date of regular appointment.
